Lillafüred est une région administrative de Miskolc. C'est une des attractions touristiques du pays qui offre magnifique environnement naturel. Elle se trouve à la bordure est des Montagnes de Bükk dans la vallée de Szinva. Le Lac Hámori est près de la ville. C'est un lac d'environ 1.5 km de long et 9 m de profondeur.
Miskolc doesn't have an international airport, the nearest ones are in Budapest and Debrecen. The main railway station is Tiszai Station. The city can be reached by train from all the major cities. Miskolc can be reached from the West on Highway M3, which recently reached the city. The easiest way to reach Lillafüred is to take the No. 5 bus from Miskolc. There is a narrow-gauge railway that connects Lillafüred to Miskolc known as the Lillafüredi Állami Erdei Vasút (Lillafüred Forest State Railway). It takes between a half hour and 45 minutes for the train to go between the two major stops. The Miskolc stop is located in Diósgyőr.

The most beautiful dripstone structures are the Mammut's Mouth, Fairyland, Column Hall and Concert Hall. The air in the cave is very clear and has a high humidity. Patients with respiratory illnesses are treated here.

is a medieval castle in the historical town of Diósgyőr. In the northeastern tower there is an exhibition of the history of the castle and the Pauline monastery, a weapons exhibition and the waxworks. The north-western tower functions as a looking-tower, with a view on Diósgyőr and the surrounding hills; on the ground floor there is a small mint where tourists can make commemorative coins with their own hands. The south-western tower is in ruins. One of the main tourist attractions of the castle is a larger waxworks exhibition which is one of the largest waxworks exhibitions of Central Europe. It shows six scenes of everyday life in mediaeval Diósgyőr.
is a valley in Miskolc, near Lillafüred. With an area of 105.801 m² it is the second largest green area of the city after Tapolca-Hejőliget.

Although its official name is Miskolc Városi Vadaspark – "Wildlife Park of Miskolc" – it is actually a zoo because the animals are kept in cages. is one of the two largest shopping malls in Miskolc. It stands in the downtown, not far from its main rival, the Miskolc Plaza. The Szinvapark complex consists of two buildings on the two banks of the stream Szinva. It is connected by a glass-walled bridge – the one on the left side houses most of the mall, including the supermarket and the cinema. The other building is a car park.

The trout farm is famous for being the only place in the country where the indigenous trout is bred in a natural environment. From spring to autumn tourists can choose the fish which the local open-air restaurant will prepare for them.
